Clouds are streaming into our skies this morning as the storm system approaches from the southwest. Light showers should move into the area 3 to 5 PM. The heavier rain will then arrive after 9 PM. Rain with isolated downpours will persist through the night and into Sunday morning. Most of the rain will dissipate by midday, though isolated showers will still be possible in the mountains into the afternoon.
I've posted the computer projection for rain totals below, which has our area getting around 1 to 2" of rainfall.
