Two storm systems will affect the area for early this week. The first system can be seen on the satellite loop below. The core of it is centered off the Pacific Northwest coastline. The second system will follow right behind.
Light showers will develop this afternoon and evening. Occasional showers will then persist through Tuesday. Then the best chance for persistent rain will arrive with the second system Tuesday evening and Tuesday night.
Rain will linger into Wednesday midday, then showers will completely dissipate by Wednesday evening.
Snow levels will range from 4,000 to 5,000 feet Monday and Tuesday. Then they will drop as low as 3,000 feet by Wednesday afternoon.
