Hurricane Rosa is currently a category 2 hurricane with sustained winds of 105 mph. It's moving to the north at 12 mph. Most computer forecasts have this storm weakening and moving to the northeast over the next couple days.
Rosa will eventually be deflected by a system in the North Pacific. You can spot both Rosa and the storm system on the satellite loop below. I've also posted all of the computer data below.
Although the core of Rosa's remnants will be pushed east of Southern California, we could still see a quick shower or downpour from an outer band on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, there is a chance for a shower on Wednesday as the storm system that is deflecting Rosa passes overhead.
I'd put rain chances at 20% Monday, 30% Tuesday and 40% Wednesday. At this time, overall rain amounts aren't looking too impressive in San Diego County, however, I will be watching Rosa very carefully regardless.
