NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED SUNDAY 1-12-2020

A storm system will clip our area at the end of the workweek and bring a quick chance for some showers. The rain chance will arrive Thursday afternoon and persist into the night. Most showers will exit by Friday morning. Rain totals will remain below a half inch for most areas.

Snow levels will drop to 4,500-5,000 feet by Thursday night, so some of the taller local mountains will get light snow.

I'll continue to watch the scenario and bring updates if there are changes to the forecast.
