There is a fairly large storm system spinning off the coast of the Pacific Northwest. You can spot it on the satellite loop below. This system will draw in smaller waves of energy and moisture, bringing us a few quick chances for rain this week.
The first one is approaching to our west and will bring a few light showers Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Another one will arrive Wednesday night into early Thursday, where patchy light rain or drizzle will be possible.
The last one will bring us a better chance for moderate rainfall on Friday, though rain totals will still remain fairly limited.
Snow levels will remain high, so most local mountains might see a quick changeover to snow before the system exits Friday afternoon. The weekend is looking dry and pleasantly cool.
I've posted the computer projected rain and snow totals below.
