TROPICAL STORM HILARY: UPDATED 9 AM SUNDAY 8-20-2023

As expected, Hilary has weakened to a Tropical Storm. It will still bring rain and intermittent downpours through the day and early tonight. Showers will dissipate by 7 AM Monday. Rain totals still look to be 1.5" to 2.5" for coastal and inland areas. Mountains will be 3" to 6".

Winds will be strongest from noon to 8 PM in the mountains and desert, where gusts could reach 65 mph. Winds will strongest on the coast and inland from 3 to 10 PM, where gusts could reach 45 mph.
