NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED FRIDAY MORNING 3-10-2023

Our next storm system is now moving into our area. You can see it pumping clouds into our skies this morning in the satellite loop below. Light showers will arrive late this morning.

Intermittent showers will persist through tonight and early Saturday. A renegade isolated shower is possible on Saturday, especially in the mountains, otherwise, the day looks mainly dry. Snow levels will remain fairly high, so local mountains will not see any snow.

Another system will bring more rain early next workweek. Showers will overspread the area late Tuesday evening and Tuesday night. Showers should dissipate by midday Wednesday. Again, snow levels will remain high for this system, so local mountains might see some wet snow at the highest peaks above 6,000 feet.

I've posted the computer projections for rain and snowfall through next Wednesday. It's been a wet rain season so far!
