Patches of drizzle and light rain will develop tonight. A better chance for moderate rainfall will arrive by midday tomorrow (10 AM to 3 PM). An isolated downpour is also possible during this time. Most showers will exit coastal and inland areas by Monday evening, however, snow showers will persist in the mountains through most of Monday night. Rain totals will only be around 0.25" for coastal and inland areas, though higher elevations could get 0.5 to 1.0".
Snow levels will start at 6,000 to 7,000 feet tonight, then drop to 5,500 to 6,500 feet Monday morning. Levels will then drop as low as 4,000 feet by Monday evening. Local mountains will receive a few inches of additional snow.
I've posted computer projections for rain and snow accumulations below.
Another quick chance for rain could arrive by this upcoming Sunday. I'll keep an eye on it and bring updates as it approaches.
