NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED FRIDAY 11-16-2018

There are signs that our dry pattern is about to erode in the coming days. On the satellite loop below, you can spot a storm system spinning in the central Pacific. This system will miss us to the south, however, another storm will follow right behind. It's currently over the Aleutian Islands of Alaska (also seen on the satellite loop below). This system could possibly bring rain to Southern California by next Wednesday or Thursday (Thanksgiving). It's still thousands of miles away, so a lot can change in the next few days, but at least it's a sign that rain season might begin soon. I'll have more updates in the coming days.
