NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED FRIDAY 2-16-2018

A potent cold front is headed this way late Sunday into Monday. This will bring a chance for showers Sunday night and through the day on Monday. It will also bring is some of the coldest air we've seen all winter. The first map below is Saturday, then the second map is Tuesday. You can see the cold air overspread the entire West Coast. Daytime highs in San Diego will stay in the 60s for most of next week. In addition, overnight lows will dip into the 40s.

Snow levels could dip to 3,000 to 4,000 feet Monday and Tuesday, however, the system will be somewhat moisture-starved, so snow will be limited.

This might be the start of a developing pattern, where cold fronts arrive in SoCal every few days. Definitely keep those jackets handy in the coming days!
