NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED SATURDAY 2-10-2018

A small but potent storm system is currently in the Gulf Of Alaska (satellite loop below). This system will slide down the coast and bring a chance for isolated showers Monday and Tuesday. There will be a little instability in the atmosphere, so we could also encounter a quick downpour. Regardless, it won't amount to much rainfall.

The system will stall to our west and draw up some moisture late Wednesday into Thursday. This could bring us a better chance for some substantial rain. These types of stalled systems are tough to forecast, so there might be some adjustments to the forecast in the coming days. I'll keep an eye on it and bring updates when needed.
