As it stands, there is a storm system currently spinning in the Gulf of Alaska. In addition, there is another system north of Hawaii. You can spot both of them on the satellite imagery below. If the computer forecasts are correct, these systems will merge and head our way late Thursday into early Friday. Best chance for rain would be Friday morning.
This is a tricky forecast, so confidence is somewhat low. I'll continue to monitor it and bring another update once the data solidifies.
