An upper level storm system will settle into the region Thursday and then stall overhead for a couple days. This will bring San Diego and most of Southern California a threat for isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm.
Chances for rain are 20-30% for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. More than likely these showers will develop in the afternoon and evening during peak heating hours. They will then dissipate after sunset. Not everyone will see the rain, which is why I'm going for such a low percentage for rain chance.
