NEXT RAIN CHANCE SAN DIEGO: UPDATED FRIDAY 10-12-2018

There aren't many changes to my forecast from yesterday. The remnants of Sergio continue to get pushed to the east of our area by an upper level storm system that is settling overhead our region tonight and tomorrow.

This system will bring enough instability to the atmosphere that a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible tonight and into Saturday. I'm increasing the rain chances to 60% for coastal and inland areas for tonight through midday Saturday. Rain chances are 70% in the mountains tonight and lingering through Saturday night.

Rain totals (posted below) won't be too impressive, except for the San Bernardino mountains.

Sunday is looking dry and wonderfully cool. Enjoy!
