WEATHER UPDATE: WEDNESDAY 5-22-2019

A storm system continues to churn over the West Coast (seen on the satellite loop below). Reinforcing waves of energy are gliding southward behind this system and giving us more chances for rain and more cool weather. Patterns like this take awhile to break. Here is the current situation:

Wednesday: Showers and an isolated thunderstorm are possible today. Don't be surprised if you hear some thunder today.

Thursday: A lingering light shower is possible mainly in the morning hours.

Friday/Saturday: These days are looking mainly dry. A renegade shower could pop up, but the chances are looking very slim.

Sunday/Monday: Rain chances return Sunday and into early Monday.

Tuesday and beyond: There are signs of the pattern eroding and warm and dry weather returning by the end of next week.
