SAN DIEGO RAIN TOTALS: WEDNESDAY 4/8/2015

Rain totals were minimal across the area.

Obviously we are hurting for some rainfall. Here is a map showing how dry it has been this rain season. It is the percent of normal rainfall.

There will be a shift in the weather patter later this month. A strong blocking ridge will develop in the Gulf Of Alaska. This ridge will be far enough north to allow a possible system to sneak underneath. We saw this earlier in the rain season, so it's possible to see it happen again...around the 4/17 to 4/25 time frame. Otherwise, rain chances look slim over the next several days.
